So just now I wanted to force a map change on CTF. Who'd know it would be so difficult Due to the mixture of mutators, a custom 'servertravel' simply caused a map reload I will fix that now -haha- so if I ever have to do it in the future it will work properly.

I have seen people remarking that "the minigun on this server is too strong", usually followed by rude comments. What an utterly unjust thing to say. The servers run at the default tickrate, meaning standard weapon strength is preserved. It is the other servers that have out of whack weapon balance with their ridiculous tickrates.... Anyway, in the spirit of keeping people happy the minigun has been weakened.

I also took the liberty to incorporate a request from Sven regarding CTF-Niven: the Ripper has been replaced with the Minigun (see the connection here? ). This way both bases have the same weapons. Old, but not forgotten...

Maybe a removal of that lock on option(the same thing pulse gun has) is better than weakening the damage the minigun inflicts.

The option that weakens your movement.

I think Shadow might be referring to 'LockDown' - the kooky 'tractor beam' effect that prevents you from jumping, dodging or moving effectively whilst you're under attack with the minigun or plasma rifle.
There was a discussion about this on ProU* a few years back, and someone made a mod that removed LockDown completely (edit: apparently that's been an option in Pure for a while); I'd love to see it go too, but I think you'd be in real trouble when you went back to 'regular' servers after adjusting to its removal.

Ohh, ohh - one thing I'd really like to see, though, would be a jump-boots turns-remaining count. I should be able to keep a mental tally, but when there's a lot going on I often forget how many charges I've already used.

Yes... He was just playing without a tag with another name to be truly anonymous but sadly failed, people recognized him... I think he can't really be in disguise... Christ too... We recognize their style too well... Though I was doubting that a player named " Volt' " was Christ, Ciro - the worse "guesser" in BLS, didn't even know it was him... So he team killed Volt'... HAHAHAHA!

Many of us play under other names when we don't wanna put efforts. Or sometimes we just want peace... But sometimes we put efforts and we get invited by other clans... Tyson, former BLS, tried to infiltrate other clans that way.

I thought I could leave the servers unmonitored for a few days. Apparently not, since the server *spontaneously* rebooted a few days ago! Only just realized it...
