Updated with ACEv08b. Not sure if we should stick with it on the server but it is in private BETA. Having said that, it is way less buggier than ACEv07f, less timeouts, less crashes, less lag.

Meh. I just got banned from one of the few remaining demo DM servers for "botting". The handful of people who play there never go on any of the the instagib servers; my aim is pretty ropey at the best of times, but I can score primary shock hits on them somewhat consistently - too consistently for them, it seems.

And the UrS server is offline at the moment, so I'll be dropping by the |UK| server in a sec, I'm still itching for my UT fix.

He heh, thanks Mc. I used to know the guy who pays for the server, but I haven't really spoken to him for about four years.
I've seen him around more recently, but only when I was using a 'new' name, so it might be a bit awkward if I approach him now because it'll be obvious that I've not acknowledged him on those occasions. Might be worth it though.

The guy who banned me isn't very pleasant, he's hugely self-important, and generally not much fun to be around. He's a reasonable player, but doesn't like to be challenged. I'm not sure how he managed to convince the owner to make him an admin, but I'm glad he's not the only one in charge.

If you probably have noticed, the ComboGib server is currently down. This seems to be a problem related to gameservers.com. I've already contacted their support, expect the server back online soon!

Updated to ACEv08g

Ace is nothing and was hacked as far as I know from my UT friends. It just made game slowly as shit when u join. Sam u still dont want add antirespawn ffs? Thats why ur server is only 140th (UrS is 55th) I just see insta morons spawn on our base:

Just make a normal server, combogib like UrS and normal ppl who wanna play for fun will play on it. Now I see too many insta fuckers on ur serv and its very bad. That's all.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did put on spawn protect to begin with but people didn't like it. It also looks like the server is slowly catching on and noggin's work on the mods to make the server possible did not go to waste!
